Gary Wise, PhD, earned his PhD in Zoology from the University of California at Berkeley and completed an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He is Professor and Head of Comparative Biological Sciences within the School of Veterinary Medicine. His research investigates the molecular basis for tooth eruption, bone resorption and formation, and the regulation of osteoclastogenesis.
