Bio

Dr. Troxclair has been a part of the LSUHSC Department of Pathology since 1989.  Prior to attending medical school she was a Research Associate in the Department of Pathology.  During that time she was heavily involved in the technical aspects of the Pathobiological Determinants of Atherosclerosis in Youth (PDAY) and Risk Factors in Early Human Atherogenesis (RFEHA), nationwide studies on the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.  While attending medical school and completing a pathology residency, she continued her participation in the PDAY research and developed a keen interest in Rhythmic Wrinkling in the aorta.  Dr. Troxclair also completed a subspecialty fellowship in Forensic Pathology.
