CME Learning Objectives – To be able to:

1. Understand the precautions taken early to safely perform autopsies on COVID-19 decedents;

2. Describe the gross and histologic lesions in the lungs, heart and other organs in COVID-19 autopsies; and

3. Understand the vital role pathology played in diagnosing COVID-19.
