CME Learning Objectives – To gain knowledge and understanding of:

1. the role of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) with the renin-angiotensin system;

2. post-translational mechanisms leading to the loss of ACE2 compensatory activity; and

3. angiotensin receptors in SARS-CoV-2 infection.
