Bio

Dr. Nicholas Culotta is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at LSUHSC New Orleans, where he completed his dermatology residency training before joining as faculty. A proud Louisiana native, Dr. Culotta grew up in Marrero, just across the river from New Orleans, and has deep roots in the community he now serves. He earned his undergraduate degree from LSU Baton Rouge and went on to gain valuable hands-on healthcare experience as a pharmacy technician before pursuing his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, ultimately leading him to dermatology. He loves clinical dermatology, and loves making clinic a fun place to work for his residents. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Culotta is a devoted family man who loves exploring new destinations with his wife, Lorena, and their new baby boy, Luca. A true Louisiana sportsman, he enjoys fishing from his new GatorTail boat (for those that don't know it's a swamp boat!) and hunting. He also has a passion for fitness and has a soft spot for baking, especially when it means treating his residents to something homemade.
