Bio
Dr. Kendall Holden is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the LSU Health Sciences
Center Baton Rouge campus and serves as the site coordinator for the Our Lady of the
Lake Mid-City Dermatology Clinic.
A Baton Rouge native, Dr. Holden graduated as valedictorian from St. Joseph's Academy
in 2014 before earning her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. She
went on to complete both medical school and her dermatology residency at LSU Health
New Orleans, where she also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Holden provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatologic care with a special
clinical interest in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). She established the HS specialty
clinic at Our Lady of the Lake Dermatology, where she cares for patients with complex
and severe HS using both medical and procedural treatment approaches.
Her academic interests include hidradenitis suppurativa, medical education, and improving
access to specialized dermatologic care. She is passionate about mentoring trainees
and advancing evidence-based, patient-centered dermatology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Holden enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and
their two young daughters. She loves reading fiction, traveling with her family to
Disney World and the beach, and cooking at home.
