Bio
Pam Martin was born in New Orleans and spent part of her youth in New York, ultimately
returning to New Orleans. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical
School and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She spent her intern year in Ophthalmology
at LSU and completed a Pathology residency and Chief Residency through LSU at Charity
Hospital. She then completed a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Sloan Kettering in
New York and a Dermatopathology Fellowship under Dr. Richard Reed at Tulane. She is
on the editorial board of American Journal of Surgical Pathology, former president
of Zola Cooper and present board member. Her passions are family, medicine, learning,
travel, shoes and all things dance. She has achieved one goal on her bucket list
of visiting all 7 continents, but a long list remains. She is married, has three children,
two in medicine, one in the wine business, 2 precious grand babies and one adorable
dog, Fitz, a Norwich Terrier, who rules the roost. Pam is grateful for the opportunities
afforded to her and is thrilled to be part of the team. She is open to new ideas always!
