Katrina Gleditsch, DO is a 3rd year pediatric hematology/oncology fellow at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSHUSC) and Children's Hospital of New Orleans. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College, a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University and her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her general pediatrics residency at the Medical College of Georgia/Augusta University Health System before moving to New Orleans. Her fellowship research in Dr. Andrew Hollenbach and Dr. Fern Tsien's labs focuses on fluorescence in situ hybridization and genetic heterogeneity in alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. After completion of fellowship, Katrina looks forward to a clinical career as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist and palliative care provider.
