MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Edgar Hull Society (EHS) is free and open to all medical students at LSU, regardless of their career goals.

Membership includes monthly meetings, a mentorship program, community service opportunities, and student membership in the American College Physicians--American Society of Internal Medicine.  Additionally, Charles V. Sanders, MD, Chairman of the Department of Medicine at LSU, hosts an annual gathering of fourth-year medical students who are interested in Internal Medicine as a career.

Other worthwhile reasons to become a member of EHS are:

1) Establishing friendships with other medical students

2) Meeting one-on-one with faculty, staff, and residents

3) Fostering professional and personal relationships on the local, regional, and national levels

4) Getting involved with your medical school in a positive way

5) Developing excellent leadership skills

Please contact us if you are interested in joining EHS!
