Why I picked LSU:LSU neurology faculty and residents are very easy to work with; the continuing education program along with the wide variety of pathology that we are exposed to is unique. One big plus for me was that New Orleans has a great multicultural environment which makes living in this city to be quite an adventure for me and my family.

Plans after residency:I plan to pursue a neurophysiology fellowship.

Why I picked LSU:The faculty and residents are great, feels like a big close family. Also, the amount of neurology that you experience has the perfect balance of quantity and quality, and the diversity of pathology among the neuro subspecialties is very well balanced so you can truly have a great learning experience and have the comfort that once you graduate you will fill comfortable enough managing patients all the way from headaches, through neuro-critical care.

Why I picked LSU: I picked LSU because as a New Orleans native I am dedicated to providing healthcare to the people of the city. I also loved the family-like atmosphere of the LSU residency program and how the residents and faculty support each other.

Plans after Residency: I hope to complete a fellowship after residency and am interested in epilepsy, headache, or movement disorders.

And outside of work, there are plenty of fun activities to do in the city and amazing restaurants to try.
