Bio
Dr. Davis was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He completed his undergraduate studies
at The University of Alabama. He went on to complete his medical school training at
Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After completing an OBGYN residency at LSUHSC-NO,
he continued his postgraduate training and sub-specialized in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Davis' desire to care for both pregnant women and their unborn child with high-risk
conditions and provide specialized care has continued to be his driving force and
motivation. Dr. Davis has a strong passion for caring for various fetal conditions
and complex maternal co-morbidities. During his MFM fellowship at Stony Brook University,
he participated in numerous clinical and basic sciences projects. He has also co-authored
peer review publications and presented his research at national conferences. He has
now returned back hom as an assistant professor/clinician at LSUHSC-NO to provide
high-quality and improved health care to the women and children of the greater New
Orleans and surrounding area.
