Bio
Dr. Ann Catherine Chau was born in Saigon, South-Vietnam. She escaped the Vietnamese
communist regime and settled in New Orleans, LA since 1980. She finished her Bachelor
degree in Biological Science at the University of New Orleans with Magna Cum Laude.
She then obtained her Medical Doctor degree from Louisiana State University School
of Medicine. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was done at Louisiana State
University Medical Center. Finally, she underwent the fellowship in Maternal -Fetal
Medicine (or Perinatology) at Women's Hospital, University of Southern California.
She has been Board certified in both General Obstetrics and Gynecology and Perinatology.
She has also been Fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1996.
She is currently Associate Professor in the subdivision of Maternal - Fetal Medicine
in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University School
of Medicine. Her special interests have included the ultrasonographic diagnosis of
fetal anomalies and the prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases in pregnancy.
