Bio
Dr. Yockey is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology. Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Yockey attended LSU for her undergraduate studies, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She attended medical school at LSU in New Orleans, earning a Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Yockey completed her residency at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 2008. Afterwards she joined Mt. Sinai's faculty and worked in a diverse, busy city hospital in Queens, New York. Dr. Yockey and her family moved home to New Orleans in 2012 and she joined the faculty at LSU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Yockey is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist and received her board certification in 2010. In addition to her multi-dimensional faculty practice, Dr. Yockey practices at the DePaul Community Health Center and supervises the resident continuity clinic there.
