Dr. Dugas is a local graduate of Hahnville High School and LSU football All American.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from LSU in 1979.  He was a three-time All Southeastern Conference player and an All-American offensive tackle for LSU. He was an academic All-American and received numerous awards.  Dr. Dugas recieved his Medical Degree from LSU Medical Center in 1983.  His orthopaedic residency was completed in 1988 through the LSU Health Sciences Center.  Following his residency, he completed a one-year Sports Medicine Fellowship in 1989 at the University of Wisconsin.  Dr. Dugas served as the University of Nebraska's Team physician.  He is Board Certified in Orthpaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.
