Children's Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Intended Audience :
Physicians in general, Pulmonologists, Immunologists, Allergists, Infectious disease specialists, scientists, organizations and individuals involved in new and upcoming diagnostic and treatment possibilities, all levels of interested trainees in science and medicine.   

 

Purpose and Content:
Familiarize an audience of subspecialists and general practitioners in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine with neonatal screening and Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases.


Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to link the educational objectives to Core Competencies and be able to:

  • Review neonatal screening for T cell and B cell immunodeficiency
  • Describe the treatment options for PI identified during NBS including IgG replacement, enzyme replacement and infection prophylaxis.
  • Discuss the uses of Gamma globulin in regards to SCT and other definitive therapies for SCID and severe T cell immunodeficiency.


Registration :
The registration fee of $75 entitles the participant to admission to the conference, all course materials, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks. We are unable to process any registration without payment.
