Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program

Interview Experience

The typical interview day begins at 9:00 am at Children's Hospital New Orleans with a light breakfast and overview of the fellowship program followed by meetings with faculty members. Applicants then travel to Touro Infirmary, our delivery hospital, to tour the site and meet with faculty on service. Current fellows take applicants to lunch and return to Children's Hospital New Orleans for a tour of our level IV NICU (one of only two in the state of Louisiana). The day concludes with a wrap-up session with the Program Director or Division Head, where applicants have the opportunity to ask questions. The interview day usually concludes by 2:00 pm.
