1. Core Acting Internship—Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, ObGyn or Family Medicine. Must be in system.
2. Second Acting Internship—Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, ObGyn, Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, SICU, MICU, PICU or Critical Concepts. The second AI can be in system or out of state.
3. Required Medicine—Medicine consults in New Orleans, Our Lady of the Lake, Lafayette or Critical Concepts.
4. Required Ambulatory—Medicine clinics in New Orleans, OLOL or UMC, HOP clinic in New Orleans, ER at ILH, OLOL or UMC, Critical Concepts, Peds Clinics at Children’s, PER/Tiger Care, ObGyn clinics, Family Medicine doc. This block can be out of state or out of system.
5. Special Topics—Last block before graduation. Must be in New Orleans.
6. Three Electives—In or out of system. Must be approved by dept at LSU if out of system.
