The Clinical Skills Lab (CSL) is a designated space consisting of ~ 500 square feet within the Isidore Cohn, Jr. MD Student Learning Center.  Its configuration reflects an old style hospital patient ward that includes six patient examination tables, each outfitted with a low-fidelity adult simulator. The CSL is used to teach Cardiopulmonary Science students, 1st and 2nd year medical student and LSUHSC residents using high/low-fidelity simulator and anatomical models. 

All conference rooms are equiped with electrical and network connections on the tabletop, in addition to wireless network access. Whiteboard walls allow for plenty of space for group work, and ceiling mounted projectors allow for group presentations.

The Enhanced Conference Room contains electrical ports and Internet connections on the tabletop, in addition to a full audio-visual system in the room. This conference room can connect to video conferences from locations both within the Learning Center and off-campus locations.

The Simulation Operating Room in the Student Learning center has a full array of real operating room equipment, including surgical and audio-visual equipment.

The Simulation Classroom in the Student Learning Center contains real medical equipment and multiple Human Patient Simulators to provide a realistic training atmosphere for learners.

The Large Lecture Room is equipped with audio-visual equipment consisting of 2 ceiling-mounted projectors and a sound system. Video conferencing between the room and other rooms within the Learning Center, as well as facilities off-campus can be accomodated. The room can be reconfigured into both classroom style and theater style seating, as well as divided in half.

The computer and lounge area in the Student Learning Center provides ample space for students to relax and study. Cafe tables have electrical and internet connections, and wireless internet access is also available.
