The Wetmore Foundation provides funding for services to indigent persons with tuberculosis or respiratory diseases and conditions in and about New Orleans, LA.

All age groups are eligible: prenatal, infant, children, youth, teens, adults and senior citizens.

Funding is available for medications, therapies, treatments, surgery and rehabilitation.

Mission Statement

"the care of indigent native sufferers from tubercular consumption and such other respiratory diseases and disorders as may be designated from time to time by the three governing bodies described below, in and about the City of New Orleans, Louisiana, the said net income to be paid to such organizations, institutions and associations engaged in such work and in such proportions as may be annually designated by the governing bodies of the First Methodist Church, the First Presbyterian Church and the Christ Church Cathedral situated in New Orleans, Louisiana..."
