Biography
Dr. Mantle received her medical education and completed her otolaryngology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. She then completed a two-year pediatric otolaryngology fellowship under the direction of Drs. Bluestone and Casselbrant at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She has had the opportunity of practicing both in academics and private practice at several institutions across the country, including INOVA in Northern Virginia, Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, the University of New Mexico Health System and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC while moving with her husband during his advancement in academic cardiology. She is an Assistant Professor Pediatric Otolaryngology.
Dr. Mantle is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Mantle is the Medical Student and Resident Faculty Coordinator for Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
Dr. Mantle sees pediatric patients with ENT problems, including recurrent ear infections, sleep disordered breathing, tonsil hypertrophy, recurrent tonsillitis, allergic and sinus disease, epistaxis, voice disorders and hearing loss.
