Biography

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Petrauskas completed her undergraduate training at Tulane University. She then attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine to obtain her medical degree where she was a part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She went on to complete a five-year Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency at The University of Chicago, followed by a year-long fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, Barre and spending time with her husband, two dogs Wrigley and Frankie and one cat, Roux.

Dr. Petrauskas is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Her research interests include clinical quality improvement, vascular malformations and pediatric head and neck conditions. She is passionate about medical education and enjoys mentoring medical students and residents. Additionally, she has a strong commitment to community outreach.

Dr. Petrauskas treats pediatric patients with a wide range of ENT disorders, including airway anomalies, cleft and craniofacial deformities, sleep disordered breathing, tonsillar hypertrophy, recurrent ear infections. She has a special interest in patients with cleft and craniofacial deformities, airway conditions, head and neck masses and vascular malformations.
