Educational Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe recent advances in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  2. Describe the pathogenesis of inflammation in the gut, including the role of host factors, pathogens and nutrition.
  3. Describe the clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases of the bowel in children.


Target audience:
This activity is specifically directed toward pediatricians and gastroenterologists, but it is open to all physicians, fellows, residents, and other interested medical and para-medical professionals.

Format:
Symposium: Formal lectures and panel presentations.
