Educational Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe recent advances in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Describe the pathogenesis of inflammation in the gut, including the role of host factors, pathogens and nutrition.
- Describe the clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases of the bowel in children.
Target audience:
This activity is specifically directed toward pediatricians and gastroenterologists,
but it is open to all physicians, fellows, residents, and other interested medical
and para-medical professionals.
Format:
Symposium: Formal lectures and panel presentations.
