The mission of the LSUHSC Nephrology & Hypertension Interest Group (NHIG) is to foster medical student interest in the field of nephrology. We serve as a peer network providing opportunities to experience clinical nephrology and enhance knowledge of this critical subspecialty. Through exposure to unique aspects of the field, our goal is to inspire pursuit of nephrology as a medical career choice.
