Bio

Omer Kaymakcalan, MD trained in General Surgery at Stony Brook University, during which he spent two years as a Surgery Research fellow in Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. He subsequently trained in Plastic Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago. This was followed with Hand Surgery Fellowship at Christine M Kleinert Institute at the University of Louisville. He now is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Louisiana State University, focused on Hand and Plastic Surgery.
