Bio
                                 
                                 Dr. Prasanth Patcha is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a clinical and academic
                                       background spanning general and aesthetic plastic surgery, microsurgery, and advanced
                                       reconstructive techniques. A Diplomate of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery
                                       and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Patcha has held academic appointments at the
                                       University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Heersink School of Medicine, where he served
                                       as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and faculty plastic surgeon at the Birmingham
                                       VA Hospital.
                                 
                                 He earned his MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University and holds both a Master’s and
                                       Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. He completed
                                       his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia and the University
                                       of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also served as Chief Resident. He further refined
                                       his expertise in microsurgery through an international fellowship with Professor Phillip
                                       Blondeel in Belgium.
                                 
                                 Dr. Patcha’s clinical interests include aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, perforator
                                       flaps, limb salvage, breast reconstruction, lymphatic surgery, and robotic-assisted
                                       procedures. His research focuses on microsurgical outcomes, flap monitoring, and innovations
                                       in tissue oximetry. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented
                                       nationally and internationally.
                                 
                                 A dedicated educator, Dr. Patcha has mentored medical students, residents, and physician
                                       assistant students, and has been recognized for excellence in teaching. He is a Fellow
                                       of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of several national surgical
