Diagnosis -PET/SPECT/MRI Co-registration Imaging

Brain images produced by PET and SPECT scanning are not as clear as those produced by MRI. One method of seeing more precisely where the PET and SPECT scan changes occur in the brain is to lay their images on top of MRI images (i.e., co-register the images). This is done using special computer and software systems of the Epilepsy Center of Excellence.
