Bio

Erich Conrad M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and is the Program Director for the LSU-Ochsner Psychiatry Residency Training Program and the Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship.  He also serves as the Director of Psychiatric Consultation and Liaison for the LSUHSC Epilepsy Center of Excellence.

Dr. Conrad completed training at the LSU/Ochsner psychiatry residency training program in 2003, where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Conrad's current research interests include depression in epilepsy, nonepileptic seizures and psychiatric sequelea of traumatic physical injury.
