Dr. Reiss received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2002. After completing his Internal Medicine residency at Stanford University Hospital in Stanford, California, he did a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Reiss has been practicing at the Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates Marrero location since 2008. As a gratis faculty member for the LSU Gastroenterology Section, he assists in patient care and fellowship education by performing therapeutic endoscopy procedures at LSU Interim Public Hospital.
