Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program

The LSUHSC New Orleans Allergy/Immunology Fellowship is a joint fellowship with training in both Pediatric and Adult Allergy/Immunology.

Our division offers an accredited 2-year training program with positions available for 1-2 fellows each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Allergy/Immunology and certification by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. The program has been ACGME certified since 1992.

Clinical Training

During the fellowship period, the trainee gains extensive inpatient and outpatient experience in the diagnosis and management of patients with asthma, allergic disorders, and clinical disorders of the immune system. The fellow also learns to provide both Allergy and Immunology consultation for patients on other clinical services.
