Diana Battaglia received the Chancellor's Award for 2021, presented to the graduating student who has done most to promote the health sciences and the Graduate School.
Pediatrics
Amanda Barkemeyer, MD received the Stephen Osofsky Memorial Award, an annual honor for outstanding performance during the pediatric acting internship given by the pediatric clerkship.
Ella De Los Reyes Baus, MD was presented the Herbert Rothschild Award at graduation by the pediatric clerkship. The award is given annually to a senior who demonstrates outstanding performance in pediatrics.
Medical student Victoria Huynh was the recipient of the 2021 Interprofessional Student Association (IPSA) Leadership Award. This is the highest award given to any IPSA member. This award was given to Huynh for her leadership with the New Orleans Adolescent and Reproductive Health Education Project (NOARHP).
Karlie Ragas, MD received the Pediatric Alumni Award as the senior medical student who demonstrated outstanding interest and performance in pediatrics.
