Dr. Fremaux is an Acadia Parish native who came to the LSU Department of Radiology because of his interest in teaching.  He received his medical degree from LSU Medical School in New Orleans.  He was an intern at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi then did a residency at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals.  He completed his fellowship in neuroradiology at UTHSC in Houston, Hermann and MD Anderson Hospitals.  In addition to experience in diagnostic, interventional and neuroradiology, he also has several years experience as a general/family practitioner.  He is a licensed pilot and enjoys cooking and fishing in his spare time.  He is a board certified radiologist with a CAQ in neuroradiology.
