Internal Medicine

Dr. Cynthia J. Brown recently published a commentary in Current Geriatrics Reports on overcoming Ageism, Racism, and Gender Bias in medical education.

Dr. Stephen Lim (Emergency Medicine) recently published, with colleagues from the Vaccine Effectiveness among Healthcare Personnel Study Team, a paper on the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Dr. Danny Raines (Gastroenterology) recently published “Double Balloon Enteroscopy: Current Status and Indications” in Practical Gastro journal. The technique that has been available in the U.S. since 2004.

 

Pediatrics

Critical Care Division's Dr. Hannah Bauer wrote an article titled "Friend or Foe? Venoarterial ECMO via Carotid Artery ‘Jump Graft': A Case Series" which will be published in the Journal of ExtraCorporeal Technology.

Ambulatory Division's Dr. Alexis Morvant collaborated with other palliative care physicians across the country on a publication titled "Changing Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Through Medicaid Partnerships" which was published in Pediatrics. You can view the article here.
