The Section of Rheumatology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans offers a two-year fellowship program leading to board eligibility in rheumatology. Fellowship training takes place at affiliated hospitals in the New Orleans area and provides in-depth clinical training as well as the opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical research.

Major Conferences:

LSU Multidisciplinary Conference is held on a weekly basis with the participation of all members of the LSU Rheumatology Section. This important conference incorporates core lectures, journal clubs, research conference, and guest presentations into one extended educational session.

Program Monitoring & Improvement:

The quality of training activities are monitored closely by a number of measures.
