Target Audience:

The primary target audience for this CME activity is faculty, residents, students, invited guests and other healthcare professionals practicing in the LSU Health System, LSU affiliated hospitals and communities within the State of Louisiana for whom this is within the current or potential scope of professional activities. The purpose of this activity is to promote improvements in healthcare in Louisiana.


Activity Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be better able to:

  • Expand knowledge of the latest advancements in cancer biology and treatment
  • Improve understanding of cancer initiation/progression and emerging therapeutic technologies to foster novel collaborations
  • Evaluate basic and translational investigators, and other healthcare providers insights, discussions and scientific approaches from an interdisciplinary perspective

All attendees are expected to use one of the approved methods to check-in or log-in to the conference. Attendance is tracked, uploaded and available on the CME transcript for LSUHSC.edu eligible learners.  Additionally,  credit is transmitted to the LSBME's CE Broker system monthly for those Louisiana LICENSED physicians (those working on permits are not transmitted).
