On June 30, Dr. Odinet-Frey, Director of Accreditation, will be conducting a comprehensive orientation for LSU Faculty who will be assuming new responsibilities to serve as their department’s Program Directors (PD). The orientation will provide a foundation of knowledge for those new to the PD position. The PD position is constantly evolving as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) evolves in the areas of resident wellness and quality of residents educational experience. The orientation will review the new changes and enable the new PD’s to locate the institutional resources available. We look forward to the contributions of our newest directors and thank them for their commitment to medical education.
