The Biomedical Alcohol Research Training Program

Research Environment

Working closely with our core research facilities, the individual laboratories of our T32 training faculty are primarily located within the Medical Education Building (MEB) and the Clinical Sciences Research Building (CSRB) on the LSU Health-New Orleans downtown campus.  Our laboratories feature a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment designed to drive innovative biomedical research into alcohol-related physiology and pathology.  Our research methodologies incorporate a wide array of interactive approaches ranging from genetic and molecular analyses to the precise behavioral testing of highly valid animal models of alcohol use disorder and closely associated co-morbidities.
