Mark Dawson, MD, MBA

Mark Dawson, MD, MBA, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in the Family Practice Residency Program based at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, La. He oversees Pediatrics and Pain Management in the Family Practice Residency Program at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in the LSUHSC School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine-New Orleans. He completed a Family Medicine residency at W.O. Moss Regional Hospital in Lake Charles, La., and a pediatrics residency at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. Dr. Dawson is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Pediatrics. In addition, he has a master's in business administration from LSU, adding knowledge of business to the residency program.

Dr. Dawson is married with four daughters and enjoys LSU basketball and equestrian sports.
