Global Pulmonary Health Scholars
This cross-cultural elective introduces LSUHSC New Orleans Pulmonary/Critical Care fellows to concepts in comparative health systems, international disease burden, public health and professionalism in instructive international sites. Two-week rotations are available for up to three fellows each year, with the support of of Ochsner Health System (Dr. Leo Seoane, Chief Academic Officer), the Warren R. Summer MD Professorship, the Howard Buechner MD Professorship, the Dean’s Pulmonary Global Health Fund at LSU Health, and generous donors.
