Target Audience:

The primary target audience for this CME activity is faculty, residents, students, invited guests and other healthcare professionals practicing in the LSU Health System, LSU affiliated hospitals and communities within the State of Louisiana for whom this is within the current or potential scope of professional activities. The purpose of this activity is to promote improvements in healthcare in Louisiana.


activity Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be better able to:

  • Participants will learn how to interpret tumor genomic and molecular profiles (e.g., mutations, biomarkers, and genetic alterations) and incorporate this data into creating personalized treatment strategies, ensuring that therapies align with the patient’s unique cancer characteristics.

  • Attendees will enhance their understanding of the latest targeted therapies and immunotherapies, exploring how these treatments can be integrated into clinical practice based on specific molecular targets, genetic mutations, and biomarkers identified in tumor profiles.

  • Participants will practice multidisciplinary collaboration, engaging with oncologists, pathologists, geneticists, and other specialists to assess complex cases, ensuring that diverse clinical expertise is incorporated into treatment decisions that maximize patient outcomes.

All attendees are expected to use one of the approved methods to check-in or log-in to the conference. Attendance is tracked, uploaded and available on the CME transcript for LSUHSC.edu eligible learners.  Additionally,  credit is transmitted to the LSBME's CE Broker system monthly for those Louisiana LICENSED physicians (those working on permits are not allowed to be transmitted).
