On January 3, 2017 Student Affairs along with the GME office hosted their annual Residency Planning Day. 195 Juniors spent the morning in the MEB Lecture rooms engaging in didactic sessions about what the fourth year of medical school entails. Two of the topics covered were Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) and Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The Juniors dismissed to the Learning Center on the 6th floor of the Lions Building where they were provided lunch sponsored by AHEC. Students were able to peruse the various residency programs that LSU has to offer at the Residency Fair.
