Three classes are available as four week elective blocks during the fourth year:
- Pathology 420: LSUHSC medical students have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the areas of anatomic and clinical pathology at University Medical Center-New Orleans.
- Pathology 422: Non-LSUHSC medical students have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the areas of anatomic and clinical pathology at University Medical Center-New Orleans
- Pathology 499: LSUHSC medical students have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the areas of pathology at an outside healthcare faciliity
