Medicine Research Day 2026 a Huge Success 

Speaker at Medicine Research DayDr. David S. Goldfarb, Professor, Department of Medicine, NYU Grossman School of Medicine kicked off Medicine Research Day 2026 with his presentation, Climate and Kidney Health. He provided a insightful perspective on the increase in renal pathology, especially stone formulation, and theories regarding the relationship of this increase and climate change. 

The poster session followed the presentation, representing 78 submitted abstracts, and winners from several categories were announced:

Translational Research:

  • Medical students Victoria Bourgeois and Hayley Sumich for The Use of Dupilumab in Treatment of Hidradenitis Suppurativa: A Scoping Review of Emerging Evidence
  • IM Resident Dr. Mary K. Moore for Beyond the doxy PEP Script: A Call for Longitudinal STI Screening and Follow-up – Lessons Learned from HIV Outpatient Program
