Ches'Nique Phillips is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Genetics at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her doctoral work at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2017. Her research under the mentorship of Dr. Yaguang Xi is focused on studying the role of non-coding RNA in tumor metastasis and progression. Her ultimate goal is to conduct basic and translational cancer biology research in an academic setting as an independent investigator.
