Chiachen (Carrie) Chen is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Genetics at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSHUSC). She received her D.V.M and PhD in veterinary medicine from National Taiwan University in Taiwan. She did her postdoctoral training at Dr. Mary Breslin's Lab in Children's Hospital, New Orleans for developing specific INSM1 promoter driven suicide gene therapy in cancers and then continued the study in Dr. Lan's Lab. Carrie works in Dr. Michael Lan's lab focusing on targeting therapy in Neuroendocrine tumors.
