Grace J. Kim is currently a MD/PhD student in her first year of graduate school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA under the instruction of Dr. Lucio Miele, MD/PhD. She attained her Bachelors Degree with a Major in Biology and a minor in Studio Art from New York University. After leaving NYU, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with Dr. Eric Pamer, MD, on a clinical trial researching the protective immune effects of prophylactic autologous Fecal Microbiota Transplantations in immunocompromised bone marrow transplant patients. She went on to complete a Masters in Medical Genomics and Genomics at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she researched the effects of glucose rich diets on the metabolomes of mismatch repair deficient patients. She plans to pursue research focusing on cancer bioinformatics in triple negative breast cancer.
