About me:
I grew up in Lafourche Parish where I attended Central Lafourche High School. After
graduating, I decided to attend Nicholls State University where I graduated with my
Bachelor of Science in Biology. After spending time volunteering at LSU-HSC during
my final year at Nicholls, I decided to further my career by obtaining my Ph.D. When
not researching, I enjoy the occasional camping/fishing trip.
Primary Research Interest:
Regulation of transcription factors
Why Genetics?
I chose the Genetics department because the research seemed very interesting. More
importantly, I joined Genetics because of the friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
My Career Goal:
I one day hope to be an independent researcher.
