About me:
I grew up in Lafourche Parish where I attended Central Lafourche High School. After graduating, I decided to attend Nicholls State University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Biology. After spending time volunteering at LSU-HSC during my final year at Nicholls, I decided to further my career by obtaining my Ph.D. When not researching, I enjoy the occasional camping/fishing trip.

Primary Research Interest:
Regulation of transcription factors

Why Genetics?
I chose the Genetics department because the research seemed very interesting. More importantly, I joined Genetics because of the friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

What makes me unique:
My genome

What makes me typical:
I enjoy King Cake.
