Valerie Hernandez, Technical Services Associate

The Library is happy to announce the renewal of ClinicalKey with generous funding from the School of Medicine! We are pleased to be able to continue to offer this extensive package of current and vital health sciences resources for another year. This database provides electronic access to over 1,000 books, nearly 700 journals, and a clinical search engine covering more than 30 specialties.

You will find classic Elsevier books such as Gray's Anatomy, Goldman-Cecil Medicine, Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology, Bolognia's Dermatology, Neligan's Plastic Surgery, and many more. Every month new titles and new editions of ebooks are added to the collection. This is just a sample of some of the recently updated texts:

Gahart's 2021 Intravenous Medications, 37th ed.

Grainger & Allison's Diagnostic Radiology, 7th ed.

The Harriet Lane Handbook, 22nd ed.

Moore's Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, 9th ed.

Nunn and Lumb's Applied Respiratory Physiology, 9th ed.

Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease, 10th ed.

There is also a wide range of journals readily available for your research needs. This collection includes over 675 titles including the famed Clinics (aka Clinics of North America). ClinicalKey is also a decision support and point-of-care tool that includes Patient Education, Guidelines, Procedures, and Clinical Overviews, including current topics such as COVID-19. You can create a personalized profile to access Continuing Medical Education, save your searches, download pdf articles, and create presentations.

You can access ClinicalKey and our other resources through the Library's website, list of databases, and library catalog, INNOPAC. As always, feel free to contact a library staff member for assistance with any of our resources or services.
