Class of 2029 Celebrates Family Day

The LSUHSC New Orleans School of Medicine Class of 2029 celebrated Family Day, a cherished
tradition that invites families and loved ones to step into the world of medical school.
The day offered a behind-the-scenes look at the journey their students have embarked
upon — from anatomy lab demonstrations and student panels to faculty presentations
and campus tours. Families had the chance to walk the halls of our facilities, meet
classmates and mentors, and experience the sense of camaraderie that defines the LSU
medical community. The event was filled with excitement as the L1 class shared a glimpse
of their first semester along with their support systems that make it all possible. Family
Day is an SGA Event planned by SGA Executive Vice President, Michael Barkemeyer.
