Dr. Robin English and Dr. Richard DiCarlo spoke at the January Faculty Assembly meeting. Dr. English discussed the possibility of changing pre-clerkship grading system to a Pass/Fail system, which is very common to most medical schools in the country. Some delegates provided suggestions on the topic.
Dr. DiCarlo discussed the dates for moving clinical faculty into the CALS building. He also mentioned that the research labs from MEB potentially will be moving into CSRB the late spring with demolition of laboratories on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors likely happening in the summer.
The Faculty Assembly requested that Dr. DiCarlo investigate the possibility of reducing health insurance premiums for graduate students.
