Faculty Development and Evaluation Committee Hosts Guest Speaker, Announces Upcoming Podcasts

Image of workshop participantsThe Faculty Development and Evaluation Committee recently held "The Misfit Advantage" with  guest speaker Dima Ghawi. Participants learned how to connect with their inner-self to gain a deeper understanding of their personal strengths and areas for growth while also focusing on turning outward to see how their environment may shape the person they are today.

Participants discussed how to reconnect with their whole self as well as how to create a more inclusive work environment. Overall, the positive feedback and the candy krewes made for a sweet afternoon. The committee has already begun discussing what types of topics and speakers would be beneficial for a Spring faculty development event.
